Adrianne

Growing up in Southern California, in a highly musical and artistic family, with a pro musician dad who regularly took her on fossil and rock digs and museum excursions, grew crystals in the middle of the dining table, and who taught her computer tech and gaming on an old IBM, a pro musician mom who regularly got her into the weirdest and coolest events and entertainment opportunities and taught her about entrepreneurship and international cooking, three brothers to play treasure hunts, sports, music, creative crafting, and games with, Marx Brothers, Star Trek, fantasy and sci-fi shows a regular thing on the TV, and then later finding out her grandpa did the TOS original transporter sound among others (her grandma also worked in sound which is how they met), explains a lot about why Adrianne is such a big trekkie.

It wasn't until recently though that she found her first trek friends and STO was a big help in that (her first MMO outside of tinkering on D&D Online and playing WOW Trial Version). Having gone to her first ST convention ever, in Vegas in 2011, unexpectedly getting handed a free tribble from two kind tribble-laden attendees upon arriving, seeing the huge turnout of fellow cosplayers there (she's a pro cosplayer, costumer, NPC, and convention attendee herself, usually going to LARPs, Gamer Cons, and Anime Cons all over the state), feeling the high energy of the ST fans, getting a chance to sit at the front of the first STO Dev Dinner and meet the Cryptic developers and players (even before playing STO) - all just gets her more revved up for the next one coming up!

She has been a key part of the development of a number of non-trek endeavors including the Labyrinth of Jareth Masquerade Ball (the biggest masq event in the U.S.) as a Creative Director, Lead Artist, and Performer, and the LARP Alliance (a non-profit corp devoted to promoting, supporting, and educating the Live Action Role-Playing community) as Co-Founder, CEO, and Director - from which she was also hired to be the creative consultant and technical advisor on the movies "Role Models" and "Knights of Badassdom". She has worked and played with the League of Steam, worked on a few other movies and shows including Grey's Anatomy, Broken Spirits, Hurry Up & Wait Show, and Comediva, and is currently working on a couple of new shows as well.

She loves pomegranates, dinosaurs and dragons, her rock, fossil, and coin collection, playing games (console, comp, board, card, & LARP - big fan of the SNES Metroid, Chrono Trigger, and Link to the Past), working in her music studio, Knollwit, designing webpages, drawing and designing (all medias), exploring dig sites and subterranean sites like sewers and caves, writing for and creating show scripts, LARP games, and stories, practicing with archery and guns, leather/costume/set/prop/prosthetics crafting, inventing useful and unusual devices, martial arts (mostly Chinese Kenpo but studies other styles including Wushu, Kung Fu, Escrima, and Tang Su Do), dance (all styles), and is working on getting her original Marx Brothers play in the theatres and on a few new Star Trek Costumes for the upcoming conventions.
