Alex

Born April 13th 1989 the English Born and bred Alex started his love art and drawing at a young age, often winning small town awards in his youth, but that all changed when his friend introduced him to Star Trek: The Next Generation! Since then the back pages of his school books were littered with doodles of ships and the occasional math sum

At this point it was in its 7th season but seeing the enterprise over and over just made Alex’s love for the show grow further blossoming into a full blown love affair when Star Trek Voyager began to air on British TV

Alex’s love for the Voyager crew can simple be explained that in the 7 season the crew (as well as this young viewer) grew together as a family, he still sheds a tear when watching “Course: Oblivion”, “It’s not a happy ending and when the fake Neelix scans the fake Janeway after she passes and says the lines ‘she’s gone’, that’s me tissues at the ready, I love Janeway and Kate Mulgrew is just such an amazing woman”

Another interesting fact about the episode Course: Oblivion is it was one of the inspiring factors for Alex to get into digital art work, seeing his favourite ship literally melting and degrading just made him ask the question “How?”  which slowly became “Woah” after watching other Trek incarnations specially DS9 for its large scale ship battles
