James

James was born in Oxnard, California in 1978. His family moved to the Fresno / Clovis area shortly after where he spent his childhood doing outdoors actives. In 1992, he was second overall in the state of California for 125 class motocross racing.

James' love of Trek was formed at an early age while watching The Next Generation with his family. His love of the humanitarian concept and technological advances drives his passion for all that is Trek.

After high school, he joined the US Coast Guard and was assigned to a federal law enforcement boarding team. His unit was deployed to the Persian Gulf during the first gulf war and set a still unbroken record for smuggling bust. He was later assigned to a small boat station where he continued to do rescue and law enforcement work.

In 2000, he got out of the service and went to work for Lockheed Martin Mission Systems. Helping to build and install networks at Vandenburg Air Force Base to launch Titan rockets.

After a few years he joined the police academy and was hired by a south bay police department. Later leaving the department to do work in the private security sector for a sort time in VIP protection. Then again taking a position at a police department back on the central coast in his home town area of Arroyo Grande.

After a few years on the job and a short stint on the warrant service team, he left law enforcement and took a job back in the tech field. He currently lives in the north county of San Luis Obispo and works for one of the worlds largest security technology companies.
